Iconosys cultivates compelling competitive advantages in three primary areas of its business focus: research and development; hands-on client services; and mobile marketing strategies.
Research And Development Iconosys was founded on the principle of developing proprietary solutions to technological shortfalls that are due to the rapid proliferation in mobile and Smart Device usage. Through our collaborations with major manufacturers and mobile communications carriers, Iconosys has developed a number of proprietary technologies and processes that materially improve the accuracy and efficiency of GPS, battery management, camera utility management, memory management, and other onboard technologies. Iconosys has completed more than 600 projects that are compatible with most of today’s popular Smart Devices. Some notable projects include Iconosys own technologies, such as DriveReply™ (featuring enhanced GPS, autoresponder, and battery management technologies developed for the purpose of dampening the epidemic of texting-while-driving (TWD)) and TetherTogether™ (used in the widely renowned family locator technology Trick or Tracker™), among many others.
Client Services Iconosys’ optimized application production process produces customizable, database-driven, social network-integrated “first-of-kind”applications. Iconosys develops projects for its clients to accomplish many purposes, including enhancing website and mobile experience/interaction, lead generation, customer acquisition components to marketing plans, and unique methods to branding. In a world where businesses need quick turnaround of products to meet constantly evolving marketing demands, as well as the expertise and acumen of design consultants who can provide rich content that is ideally suited to today’s mobile communication viewing platforms, Iconosys gives its clients precisely what they are looking for.
Mobile Marketing Nielsen Ratings and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) estimate that in the year 2000, there were 360 million people using the internet, and of that total approximately one-third (120 million) of users were American. Today, their estimates have increased to nearly 2 billion people using the internet worldwide, and out of that number nearly 300 million persons are American (between one-sixth and one-seventh of the total internet users). In the year 2000, essentially 0% of Internet users were accessing the Internet through a mobile device. By 2010, the percentage of users accessing the internet through a mobile device had climbed to approximately 70%. More recently, the Mobile Marketing Association has stated that mobile devices represent 75% of the total internet search traffic, and that mobile marketing has grown to a $5 billion a year industry, up from $300 million in 2007. Iconosys has the experience and expertise for building top-of-the-line applications, brands, and technologies for use in mobile communications marketing. In concert with its wholly owned subsidiary, Adshark, Iconosys has begun developing a new-age mobile advertising network and consulting experience with the aim of filling the apparent void left by the failure of Admob and other competitors to effectively serve this market. In fact, one of Iconosys’ innovations, Initial SMS Advertising, recently encouraged the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) to update the mobile marketing industry’s handbook (The Mobile Industry Advertising Guidelines). Iconosys has four other advertising processes that it offers alongside the very viral Initial SMS service, in concert with the mobile marketing programs already recognized by the MMA.
